Job summary

Acme Brick Company, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary, is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to support plant and yard operations in Wisconsin. You will load and unload materials, maintain grounds and buildings, and help keep equipment free of waste while following safety procedures.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk long distances, and occasionally operate a forklift. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, with training or experience welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 30–50 lbs.
• Able to stand/walk 1–2 miles daily.
• May operate a forklift occasionally.
• Work in cramped confined spaces frequently.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads materials, parts or products around plant and/or yard.
• Performs grounds keeping and building maintenance duties.
• Ensures that machines/plant are free of waste products.
• May occasionally operate forklift.
• Follow all required work safe practices including lock-out tag-out requirements and PPE wearing in designated areas.

Education
