Job description

BHI Energy is currently looking for a Utility worker at the Cliffside Steam Station, located in Mooresboro, NC. This is a long term, local hire position and does not pay per-diem or any relocation payment. In this position you will be responsible for day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of buildings and other assigned areas within the facility. Work performance and cleaning shall be to a level that meets established cleaning standards and expectations. Your will be responsible and not limited to the following:

• Actively participate in Pre-Job and Safety Briefings
• Follow established safe work practices
• Use administrative documents, procedures, data sheets/forms properly.
• Climb and work from ladders and scaffolding if necessary
• Capable of lifting a minimum of fifty pounds over head

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to pass drug test
• Must be able to pass security background check
• Must be able to be respirator fit
