Job summary

Elior Independent School Dining is seeking a skilled utility worker to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks. The role is full-time and onsite in Jenkintown, PA, with a 7am–3pm schedule.

You will care for floors and dining areas, restock supplies, and ensure proper waste disposal as part of a hands-on team dedicated to safe, clean dining environments. Experience in foodservice or maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow safe operating procedures and use sound judgement.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Care for and clean floors and table areas.
• Restock supplies in the dining area.
• Remove and properly dispose of waste.
• Receive and stock inventory.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a skilled utility worker to our team. As a utility worker, you will have the opportunity to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks to ensure completion. Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

What you'll be doing:

• Caring for and cleaning floors and table areas.
• Restocking supplies in the dining area.
• Removal and proper disposal of waste.
• Receiving and stocking inventory.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, the dish room, and other equipment.

Must-haves:

• Able to use safe operating procedures and sound judgement.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves:

• Prior experience in foodservice and/or a maintenance role.

Compensation Range

$15 an hour
