Meijer, a family‑oriented retailer, invites you to join our Fort Wayne store as a Cashier. You’ll create efficient, friendly checkout experiences and deliver outstanding service that leaves customers with a positive impression.

In this role you’ll handle cash, operate Meijer systems, and assist shoppers in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required, and you’ll be supported by development programs for growth.

Qualifications

• You’re 18 years of age or older.
• You enjoy working with people and providing great service.
• You’re comfortable learning and using technology.
• You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
• You’re dependable, detail‑oriented, and eager to help.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
