Elior Collegiate Dining at Roosevelt University in Chicago is seeking a dedicated utility worker to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate day-to-day tasks to keep dining facilities clean and efficient.

You will care for and clean floors and dining areas, restock supplies, receive and stock inventory, and ensure proper waste disposal. The role supports a safe, welcoming campus dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must follow safe operating procedures and use sound judgement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in foodservice or maintenance is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Care for and clean floors and dining areas.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a skilled utility worker to our team. As a utility worker, you will have the opportunity to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks to ensure completion.

What you'll be doing:

• Caring for and cleaning floors and table areas.
• Restocking supplies in the dining area.
• Removal and proper disposal of waste.
• Receiving and stocking inventory.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, the dish room, and other equipment.

Nice-to-haves:
