Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.

Job description

Overview

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team. This individual will support a building or a facility by doing things like changing light bulbs, cleaning spills, emptying trash and light mechanical maintenance. They will also do regular housekeeping to keep areas clean and safe. The Utility Technician will report safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to the customer. The Utility Technician must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Ideal candidates will possess a positive, can-do attitude and understand the importance of building strong client partnerships through excellent communication. We are looking for someone who adapts quickly to change and is able to provide win-win solutions for both the client and ABM.

Location: Charleston, WV

Hourly Rate: $15-$18(Paid Weekly)

Schedule: 1230Noon-9PM, Monday-Friday And Weekends

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
