Job summary

HDR is seeking a Utility UMS Analyst in Colorado to perform spatial analyses, create maps with ArcGIS, and input/edit spatial and tabular data using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. The role includes supporting hydraulic models for water distribution and collection systems and developing data products such as reports, visualizations, and dashboards, all while following documented procedures.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent education/experience in a related field.
  • Experience editing, database development and map production in ArcGIS.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Apps.
  • Attention to detail, reliability and teamwork.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills a plus.

Job description

In the role of Utility UMS Analyst, we’ll count on you to:

  • Conduct spatial analyses and prepare maps using ArcGIS
  • Perform data input and editing of spatial and tabular data using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
  • Follow documented technical procedures
  • Assist with building and maintaining hydraulic models and data for water distribution and collection systems
  • Develop data products including reports, visualizations, and dashboards
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Science or closely related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Foundational knowledge or academic exposure to hydraulic modeling concepts and tools
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Science or closely related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Practical experience with editing, database development, and map production in ArcGIS
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Apps
