Phoenix Tailings in Rochester, NY is building a new Freedom Facility for rare earth processing. Utility Technicians will support the plant with reagent preparation, tank filling, and field troubleshooting to keep operations moving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written procedures and learn safe reagent preparation and chemical handling practices.
• Practical mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools.
• Dependable work habits with accurate recordkeeping and readiness to train for forklift or material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reagents and fill process tanks according to written instructions, verifying materials and quantities before transferring to the process.
• Move materials by forklift and assist with receiving and plant logistics per training.
• Clean equipment, remove residue, and maintain organized work areas following procedures.
• Inspect routine field conditions and report leaks, equipment problems, or unfamiliar conditions to the team.
• Support operators with routine process tasks and follow safety procedures.
