Job summary

The Wine Group is seeking a Facility Utility Technician to support production operations at a California facility. Responsibilities include general housekeeping, sanitation, painting, and basic maintenance to keep equipment and areas clean and compliant with GMP standards.

Day shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (subject to change). Must be 21+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent; willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced beverage environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older at time of hire.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn or have knowledge of facility maintenance operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform tasks across facility maintenance and operations.
• General housekeeping, basic equipment cleaning and sanitation.
• Support production by painting and assisting with plant tasks.
• Demonstrate urgency for safety, quality and productivity.
• Work with minimal supervision and use independent judgment as needed.

Job Summary

The Facility Utility Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the facility as needed. Duties include general housekeeping and sanitation, weed control, cleaning tank vents, painting, and other activities that support production operations.

Day shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (subject to change based on business needs).

Essential Functions

• Safely work in various capacities in Facility Maintenance.
• General housekeeping, basic equipment cleaning and general sanitation, including interior and exterior of plant, to support GMP’s
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency for Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude towards the job and the duties assigned and exhibit initiative to continually learn and improve professional skills.
• Other duties as assigned to meet production needs.

• Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision, which includes the ability to use independent judgment regarding work tasks.

Physical Demands

• Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

Compensation

• Hourly Pay Rate Posted: $21.65/hr.
