Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Utility Technician I to support maintenance at water, wastewater, and drainage facilities. The role involves performing routine repairs, inspections, and on-site upkeep of equipment and grounds.

The candidate must hold a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call emergencies. Training provided on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to follow manuals and operating instructions.
• Comfortable working around water/raw sewage.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains items on water, wastewater and drainage facilities.
• Makes scheduled inspections.
• Performs lawn and gardening maintenance and repair.
• Shovels dirt and gravel.
• Maintains inventory of parts and maintenance supplies.
• Cleans office including vacuuming, sweeping, trash pickup, bathroom/kitchen clean up.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.
