PRADCO Outdoor Brands (PRADCO) seeks a Maintenance Technician to operate and set up machinery, read work orders, and ensure quality products for our customers.

You will load and unload materials, perform material handling, follow safety protocols with PPE, keep the area clean, and collaborate with your team. A GED and plastics/molding experience are preferred; we offer a stable manufacturing environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months experience in plastics or molding manufacturing.
• Basic math skills for notes and measurements.
• Team player who works well with others.

Responsabilités

• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to identify materials to move.
• Loads and unloads materials as assigned.
• Counts, weighs, and records units of materials moved.
• Attaches labels to materials and marks information on cases or containers.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist and cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
• Operates an industrial truck or electric hoist to move materials.
• Follows safety protocols and wears PPE as required.
• Maintains a clean working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This position works with various types of machinery to mix material, change molds, and perform setups to ensure quality product is being manufactured for our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Loads and unloads materials as assigned.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
• Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Must follow safety protocols to include wearing proper PPE at all times in designated area.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• · High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• · 6 months experience in plastics or molding manufacturing.
• · Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers and fractions.
• · Must be a team player and work well with others.

· The employee is required to use their hands to pull, push, handle, or feel of the product being produced. They must also have the ability to stoop, kneel or crouch.

· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.

· Employee will stand 95% of the workday.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and or hazardous chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
