Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Utility Technician in Armonk, NY to perform routine maintenance and support production environments. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot power tools, repair components on production machines, and follow safety rules while maintaining a clean work area.

You must have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least six months’ experience. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be required; training certifications are valued.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least six months in a company environment or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with clear MVR; forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance in various work environments.
  • Inspect and repair fleet vehicles and production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot power tools or replace broken components on machines.
  • Maintain clean work area and follow safety rules.
  • Assist with light cleaning and high-rise tasks as needed.

Title:Utility TechJob Description:Job OverviewThe Utility Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance activities in a variety of work environments. The individual will conduct preventative maintenance to increase effectiveness and alleviate the need for major repairs.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Maintain clean work area and complies with company safety rules, policies, and proceduresStop at risk behavior of others and selfFollow posted safety standards and wears personal protective equipment when necessaryInspect and repair fleet vehicles, troubleshoot power tools or replace a broken component on a production machineInspect work process to ensure all projects turn out correctlyTake direction and responds to supervision and performs work assignments in a team with other employeesUnderstand customer service and satisfactionMay utilize Boom Lift/Highlift to complete the following:High rise Window CleaningHigh Rise DustingCleaning of stainless steel and frames utilizingLight CleaningOther duties as assignedQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
