Job summary

Sawyer Garden Center, a family-owned destination in Harbor Country, southwestern Michigan, seeks a dependable Utility Team Member to join our outdoors-focused team. This full-time position requires enthusiasm for a fast-moving environment and helping keep store and grounds in top shape.

You’ll assist departments, unload deliveries, organize items weighing up to 80 lbs, and provide friendly service to customers while working outdoors in various weather conditions. Weekend availability is required.

Sawyer Garden Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking Utility Team Member to join our team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who likes staying busy, working outdoors and being part of a team. Our Utility Team helps keep things running smoothly throughout the store and grounds each day.

What You’ll Do

• Assist departments throughout the store as needed
• Help maintain our building and grounds
• Unload and organize deliveries
• Move products, displays, fixtures and equipment
• Assist customers with friendly, helpful service
• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, punctual and ready to work. You should be comfortable with a physically active job, enjoy working with others and be able to keep up in a busy environment.

Full-time availability is required, including weekends and holidays. Sawyer Garden Center is open 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm.
