CivilGrid in the United States is seeking a Utility Research Coordinator to own end-to-end utility and municipal records requests and coordinate with utilities, cities, and agencies to secure critical project data.

The role involves researching utility operations, building relationships with public works offices, and reviewing maps to ensure records are complete before they reach the platform. This is a hybrid role based in Fort Mill, SC with travel as needed.

WHY THIS ROLE

Every record on the CivilGrid platform starts with someone tracking it down.

Utility Research Coordinators find out who owns what's underground, work directly with utilities, cities, and agencies to get those records, and keep the chain of custody intact so engineers can trust what they see on the map.

As we expand coverage across more than 3,000 sources, this team is how that coverage grows, and it's a hands-on way into the utility, GIS, and civil infrastructure world.

This is a hybrid role based in our Fort Mill, SC office with 2 days a week onsite.

Candidates must be in or willing to relocate to the Charlotte metro area to be considered.

CivilGrid does not offer relocation assistance for this role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The base salary range for this role is $48,119 - $56,610 .

Base salary is only one part of your total compensation package at CivilGrid, which also includes meaningful early-stage equity, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to shape a category-defining company.

The base salary range listed above may encompass various levels and/or geographic locations; final offers are determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, level, and work location.
