Job summary

Aldridge Electric seeks a Project Manager to join our Utility team in St Louis, MO. You will lead project delivery to ensure safety, quality, on-time completion, and budget adherence, collaborating with the project team and customers.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, at least 5 years of experience, travel flexibility, and strong communication. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, competitive base pay, and a culture focused on teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to travel to job sites.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture on assigned projects through proactive leadership.
• Mentor and train direct reports; conduct regular performance conversations.
• Manage all project facets: safety, planning, scheduling, financials, and execution.
• Monitor project health and enact changes as needed.
• Manage contracts with customers.
• Own financial tracking and reporting on projects.
• Monitor billings and cash flow to maintain a positive position.
• Proactively manage subcontractors and vendors, including safety and payments.
• Communicate with customers; address concerns promptly.
• Ensure plans meet contractual requirements.
• Foster teamwork with partners.
• Visit project sites regularly for planning and progress.
• Maintain accurate project records.
