Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino in Nevada is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to perform cleaning duties in guest rooms and corridors. You will clean carpets, polish marble, dust high areas, move beds for behind-headboard access, and restock linen while upkeeping guest comfort.

Qualifications

• At least six months’ experience in general cleaning preferred.
• At least six months’ experience with maintenance on various floor surfaces using related cleaning, buffing and extraction equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and equipment preferred.
• Must be familiar with upholstery cleaning machine, wet vacuum and vacuums.
• Professional appearance and demeanor a must.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean carpet, upholstery, glass table tops, and windows.
• Polish marble.
• Complete dusting of high/elevated areas.
• Pull bed out away from wall for dusting behind head board.
• Deliver linen to floors; restock as needed.
• Rearrange furniture inside guest rooms per guest request.
• Use bonnet machine, extraction, and CFR cleaning tools to remove stains.
• Clean bio hazard areas.
• General cleaning of guest rooms and hallways.
• Stock linen in attendant locker rooms.
• Report damaged items to be repaired.
• Clean baseboards; manage care of surfaces.
• Bonnet 25 rooms and shampoo 15 rooms daily.

• General cleaning of guest rooms and hallways.
• Stock new linen in Guest Room Attendant locker rooms.
• Report torn carpet, wall finishes and damaged furniture to be repaired.
• Clean removable marks, dirt and dust from baseboards.
• Bonnet 25 rooms and shampoo 15 rooms a day.
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
