Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is seeking crew members to support pole inspection, treatment, and restoration on a national travel basis. Immediate openings offer advancement opportunities and bonuses added to the hourly rate based on weekly production.

Safety is emphasized, and long travel is expected across the region. Responsibilities include digging around poles, applying ground-line preservatives, and operating company vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

  • Willing to travel away from home for short and extended periods to various locations.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Available to work Monday through Saturday.
  • Must comply with the Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace policy.

Responsibilities

  • Operate safely with required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vest, EH-rated boots).
  • Hand dig 18-inch holes around utility poles.
  • Apply wood preservatives to the ground line area of a pole.
  • Maintain productivity and quality relative to job norms and peers.
  • Operate company vehicle (if applicable and qualified).
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Foreman.
  • Intensive manual labor required.

We are looking for motivated individuals who will assist the foreman with pole inspection, treatment, and pole restoration.
