Job summary

Covenant Constructors LLC. is seeking a dependable Utility Pipe Layer for our Brentwood, TN project sites. You will install, repair, and align water, sewer, and drainage pipelines, working with the crew to ensure accurate layouts and on-schedule progress.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Utility Pipe Layer or in a similar role within the construction or utility industry.
  • Solid understanding of different types of utility pipes and their installation methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project plans.
  • Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the construction crew to lay pipes according to blueprints and project plans.
  • Ensure proper alignment and gradient of pipes to facilitate efficient flow and prevent blockages.
  • Cut pipes to required lengths and connect them using appropriate methods (gluing, welding, etc.).
  • Install and position pipe supports, brackets, and hangers as needed.
  • Conduct inspections to identify any defects or issues in the pipe system.
  • Assist in the excavation process and backfill trenches after pipe installation.
  • Operate construction machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols on the job site.

Job Summary

As a Utility Pipe Layer at Covenant Constructors LLC, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various utility pipelines, including water, sewer, and drainage systems. You will work as part of a team to ensure the timely and accurate installation of pipes, proper alignment, and adherence to project specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of construction processes, and a dedication to maintaining a safe working environment.
