Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is seeking a production associate to support operations on the evening shift. You will wrap, label, and prepare materials per customer specs while maintaining safety and housekeeping in the shipping area.

Responsibilities include labeling, order tracking, and assisting with other duties as needed. 18+ with a high school diploma or GED is required; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform essential duties.
  • High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience.
  • Accurate and reliable with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Wrap materials to customer specifications and label packages with correct information.
  • Mark off all orders wrapped and ensure correct documentation.
  • Perform other duties such as gluing and assisting with convoluter as needed.
  • Follow safety practices and maintain clean, organized shipping areas.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Summary:

To assist production operations in every area as deemed necessary by the supervisor. (Monday - Friday, 6:00PM - 2:30AM, overtime required could be 10-12 shifts)

Qualifications, Knowledge, Education & Experience:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • At the beginning of each shift, determine what job functions are needed for the day.
  • Wrap all materials to customer specifications.
  • Affix a label to package with correct information.
  • Mark off all the orders wrapped
  • Must perform other duties such as gluing, assisting with convoluter, etc.
  • Practice good safety techniques
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in shipping area
  • Perform other duties as requested
Education:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
  • Tape measure, iron, markers
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Attendance/Punctuality- Is consistently at work and on time.
  • Quality- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Quantity- Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity.
  • Safety- Observes all safety procedures and policies; Reports potentially unsafe conditions to supervisor; Uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
