Job summary

Amrize in Daniels, CO is seeking a Utility Operator/Maintenance to operate a range of equipment and support production operations. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, conduct routine maintenance, and follow standard procedures to ensure safe, efficient performance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience operating haul trucks, bobcats, and forklifts, plus basic electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic knowledge. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years operating haul trucks, bobcats and forklifts; light maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, identifying malfunctions and items in need of repair.
• Follow supervisor instructions and standard procedures in duties.
• Work is inspected daily for safety and economy in operation.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment (lubrication, fueling, cleaning).
• Will perform light maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Attend safety toolbox talks and meetings/events.
• Report near misses or safety incidents promptly per procedures.
• Adhere to environmental and safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety in all environments.

About The Role

The Utility Operator operates a variety of equipment and performs multiple job functions in support of production operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines
• Conducts pre and post-trip inspections, identifying malfunctions and items in need of repair

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High School diploma/GED
• Work Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experienceoperating a haul truck, bobcat and forklift Experience in light maintenance to include electrical,pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
