Job summary

ams OSRAM USA Inc. is seeking Production Associates and Utility Operators to oversee the production process, from casting to furnaces, and to take ownership of assigned portions of the operation.

You will directly impact output and quality while adhering to safety and process controls. These on-site roles offer growth through training and tuition reimbursement, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with a 6% company match; they also feature 17 days

Qualifications

• No prior manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to prioritize
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, and report equipment faults to the supervisor or team lead
• Capable of performing physical activities that might involve one to stoop, crouch, bend at waist, and lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment for production/processing operation.
• Measures and checks raw materials or parts to ensure product manufactured contains proper components, ingredients and quantities.
• Monitors controls to ensure machinery is running at proper levels during process, reporting malfunctions.
• Maintains records and manufacturing environment to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain 5S and safety standards across all work areas.
