Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Utility Maintenance. The hourly rate for this position is 28.00 per hour.The core hours for this role are 6:00 AM - 2:20 PM with overtime eligiblity.This position is also eligible for a variable incentive programPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.#IND123What you’ll do:The primary function of this position is to support the maintenance department with basic repairs, recycling program, facility, grounds and maintaining equipment. Work with other plant functions to implement safety, quality, efficiency and capital projects and improvements. This position will work with the CMMS system.Essential Functions:• Maintain oil/fluid recycling program.• Utilize the 16000 lb. industrial powered forklift to maneuver around operators to complete tasks, unload trucks, and carry and move various maintenance equipment.• Check wet scale hoppers and dump them into outside containers as needed.• Pump oil from press pits• Perform snow removal on sidewalks and fire door• Paint plant and equipment as required• Maintain graphite tanks• Help perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on presses and other plant equipment• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, and hoists; Perform rigging as required• Maintain work area housekeeping and assist in department/team housekeeping efforts• Train (OJT & Offsite) and continually updates skills to adapt to new machinery, technology and processes• Complete requisitions to facilitate ordering of parts and maintenance supplies as used/needed• Must display professional conduct and have good communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal)• Adhere to all plant safety requirements to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations• Supports maintenance team for major repairs, as a team member in resolution of manufacturing problems, troubleshooting and productivity improvement analysis.• Working knowledge of a CMMS (Computerized Maint. Management System) is a plus• Perform other facilities related tasks as requiredQualifications:Basic Qualifications:• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.• Minimum 1 year maintenance or industrial facility experience.• Minimum 2 years Fork Lift Experience• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
