Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members in West Bend, WI to support store operations and customer service. You will assist with cart retrieval, cleaning, trash collection, snow removal, returns, and collaboration with service desks and departments.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, have strong listening and communication skills, and can lift and move merchandise in a fast-paced environment. Training and development programs are available to help you grow.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store to inside.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and store areas.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with various departments across the store.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
