Job summary

UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Utility Locator to learn safety rules and techniques for locating underground utilities. You’ll work with experienced locators, use specialized tools, and document findings to keep construction projects safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include marking lines with digital mapping tools, operating equipment, and complying with safety protocols in various weather conditions while supporting project owners and managers across the country.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid State driver’s license with acceptable MVR record.

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols and how to operate utility locating equipment.
• Develop an understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations.
• Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines.
• Document findings using digital mapping tools.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
