Job summary

Northern Lights Locating & Inspection, Inc. in Wheaton, IL seeks an experienced Utility Locator to mark underground utilities in compliance with 811 laws. You will use electronic locating equipment, read maps and GIS data, and document work with photos and reports via a mobile app.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of locating experience, be able to work independently in all weather, and participate in an on-call rotation. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

POSITION: UTILITY LOCATOR

Status: Full-Time, Employee

Preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years utility locating experience

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

• Locate underground utilities in compliance with all 811 dig laws
