Job summary

Northern Lights Locating & Inspection, Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility Locator for full-time employment. You will locate underground utilities in compliance with 811 laws, read maps and GIS data, and mark utilities with paint and flags across assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities in compliance with 811 dig laws.
• Read and interpret utility maps, as-built drawings, and GIS data.
• Use electronic locating equipment and multiple locating methods.
• Accurately mark utilities using paint and flags.
• Document work via mobile app with photos and reports.
• Investigate and document excavation-related utility damages.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
