Job summary

Northern Lights Locating & Inspections Inc in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Training and Compliance Specialist. This role involves developing and overseeing training programs related to utility locating practices, along with auditing and evaluating performance to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in utility locating, strong communication skills, and a focus on safety and education.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification.
• Willingness to travel (75% +) for field audits and training sessions.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for all incoming employees on locating materials and procedures.
• Perform regular field audits to assess the quality of utility locating work.
• Document audit findings and provide feedback to locators.
