Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a Utility Lineworker or Lineworker Third Class.
• Must reside within 18 mile radius or 30 minutes travel time from the operating center.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Be available for outages and system emergencies during normal and overtime hours.
• High School Diploma or certified equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer or system trouble calls and emergencies.
• Set, remove, and read meters and measurement devices.
• Reset transformer overload switches and perform live-line work with safety compliance.
• Provide instruction to trainees and assist standby lineworker.
• Complete field paperwork for records and maintenance.
