Job summary

EMERY SAPP & SONS is seeking an experienced Utility Laborer to support the installation of underground water, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer utilities. The role involves working in utility trenches and around trench boxes, following strict safety protocols on a construction site.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in underground wet utility projects, including water and sewer systems.

Qualifications

• Experience working in construction or utility projects is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, in all weather conditions.
• Experience around trench boxes/shoring systems and in utility trenches is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of underground water, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer utilities.
• Work in and around excavation, utility trenches, and trench boxes while following all safety requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety protocols.

We are seeking an experienced Utility Laborer to join our team and support the construction of underground wet utilities, including water, storm, sewer, and sanitary systems.
