MING Entertainment seeks an experienced Utility II crew member for the ESPN Miami vs. Clemson production at Clemson University, Clemson, SC. The role supports Technical Operations for the ACC Huddle broadcast from Oct 1–3, 2026 in a fast-paced live sports environment.

Responsibilities include setup, live execution, teardown, cable layout, and equipment handling. The position requires proximity to Clemson and prior regional live production experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven shows as a regional-level utility on live remote productions.
• Must reside within 100 miles of Clemson, SC.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Utility II Crew for Miami vs. Clemson ESPN Broadcast

MING Entertainment is hiring an experienced Utility II crew member in Clemson, South Carolina, for the Miami vs. Clemson college football production at Clemson University. The position will support Technical Operations for ESPN's ACC Huddle broadcast from October 1–3, 2026. This live sports production job is ideal for experienced broadcast utility professionals who are comfortable handling television equipment, managing camera cables, and supporting camera operators in a fast-moving remote broadcast environment. Applicants must live within 100 miles of the venue and have previous regional-level live production experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Support Technical Operations with setup, live broadcast execution, and post-production teardown.
• Unload and transport medium-to-heavy broadcast equipment and cases.
• Lay out television production cables before the broadcast and retrieve them during strike.
• Pull and manage cables for camera operators during live production.
• Properly coil and organize broadcast cables using the over/under wrapping technique.
• Carry and distribute camera batteries and other equipment as needed.
• Assist the technical crew with equipment loading after production concludes.
• Respond quickly to crew instructions and changing needs during the live sports broadcast.

Requirements

• Must live within 100 miles of Clemson, South Carolina.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have worked a minimum of seven shows as a regional-level utility on live remote productions.
• Familiarity with professional broadcast equipment, including cameras, cables, and monitors, is required.
• Must know how to properly perform over/under cable wrapping and create clean, organized coils.
• Must be comfortable performing physical, hands-on work throughout the production.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude are preferred.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced live television environment where production needs may change quickly.
• Must be available in Clemson from October 1–3, 2026.
