Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years experience in utility division, construction or equipment operation.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Class B CDL.
• Must meet Utilities Heavy Equipment Operator I KSA requirements and pass tests with 70%+.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and prepare equipment for daily work.
• Operate equipment for cleaning sewer mains, pumping stations, storm drains; assist water/sewer projects.
• Assist in installing and repairing water mains, sewer systems, hydrants, and pumping stations.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with ordinances and safety procedures.
• Maintain records and submit reports; on-call utility services may be required.
• Perform other related work as assigned.
