Job summary

Entergy is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead and train line and service personnel in The Woodlands, TX. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and meeting network goals while coordinating complex dispatch and repair work.

The position requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of line experience, with a Class A CDL license. Candidates must be able to work under pressure and in extreme conditions.

Job description

Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide leadership and training to line and service personnel.
  • Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance with Company Safety Rules.
  • Work to ensure network goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Manage all SO/SR/WRs in DIS/DSS.
  • Organize work and manage multiple tasks and inputs simultaneously.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while working in extreme conditions.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and accuracy to direct construction/repair crews safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in network operations, storm restorations, and operation of AM/FM and directing contract crews.
  • Motivate and influence a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce dealing with safety and training issues.
  • Assume line supervisor duties for a short time in their absence.
Minimum Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Minimum of 8 years of line experience or equivalent.
