Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Field Coordinator / Operations Coordinator to oversee field construction activities for a large Gulf Coast utility resiliency program, spanning Southeast Texas to Southwest Louisiana.

You will coordinate contractor crews, monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule, conduct field inspections, and serve as the field representative to ensure safe, efficient execution and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of utility construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of electric distribution construction practices.
• Experience overseeing contractor crews and field operations.
• Understanding of utility safety requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and crews across locations.

Field Coordinator / Operations Coordinator | Southeast Texas & Southwest Louisiana

Join a team driving one of the Gulf Coast's largest electric utility resiliency and infrastructure improvement programs. We're seeking experienced utility professionals to oversee field construction activities, coordinate contractor crews, and help deliver critical distribution and transmission projects that strengthen grid reliability for thousands of customers.

What You'll Do

• Oversee utility construction activities across multiple active work sites
• Coordinate contractor crews performing distribution and transmission work
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance
• Conduct field inspections and ensure work is completed to utility standards
• Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project momentum
• Support project planning, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Serve as the utility's field representative, ensuring safe and efficient execution

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of utility construction experience
• Strong knowledge of electric distribution construction practices
• Experience overseeing contractor crews and field operations
• Understanding of utility safety requirements and safe work practices
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, crews, or work locations simultaneously
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Utility project management or construction management experience
• Distribution and transmission construction experience
• Safety leadership, safety coordinator, or safety specialist background
• Former lineman, field supervisor, construction coordinator, operations supervisor, or construction manager experience
• Experience working with investor-owned utilities, or cooperatives, municipalities
• Knowledge of utility work management systems, GIS, SAP, Maximo, or similar platforms
