Utility Financial Analysts at DPS review utility financial statements, become familiar with utilities’ financial forecasts and forecasting models, analyze financing requests, develop familiarity with ratemaking principles, and assist with various aspects of the rate case review process.
Utility Financial Analyst Trainee candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher including or supplemented by nine semester credit hours in finance and an additional nine semester credit hours in finance, economics, and/or accounting.
