Job summary

Mahoney Environmental Solutions, LLC in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Utility Driver with at least 3 years of commercial driving experience to join our team. This full-time role supports grease trap pumping, tank relocation, and related field duties on a structured night schedule.

Starting pay is $27–$29 per hour; sign-on bonus of $1,500 is paid in two $750 installments. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation after 90 days, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required (Class A or B).
• Tanker endorsement preferred or willing to obtain before start.
• Air Brake endorsement required.
• Clean driving record with safety-first history.

Responsibilities

• Drive 2" to 3" hoses pumping grease trap material and used cooking oil.
• Deliver/remove/relocate UCO tanks.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle exterior and safety equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Our team is expanding to Charlotte, NC. We are looking for a commercial driver with at least 3 years of commercial driving experience to join our team as a Utility Driver. This is a full-time position. We are looking for a driver that has the confidence and ability to drive through the mountains and snow. This is the opportunity of a lifetime. Starting hourly rate is: $27-29

Schedule: Midnight start time and 12-hour shifts, 5 days a week one overnight per week.

Sign on bonus will be issued out in 2 equal installments of $750. The first payment of $750.00 after 6-month anniversary and the second payment of $750.00 after one year anniversary.

What you'll do:

• Handle 2\" to 3\" hoses pumping out grease trap material and used cooking oil.
• Clean area around tanks.
• Deliver/remove/relocate UCO tanks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to drive:

• A valid Class A orB Commercial Driverslicense with 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Tanker Endorsement (or willing to get prior to first day).
• Air Brake Endorsement.
• Good driving record. Safety risk rating within Mahoney acceptable standards.
• DOT certified medical card.
• The ability to lift, push or pull 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis.

Working Conditions:

• Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Exposure to used cooking oil odors.
• Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
• Handling grease coated equipment.
