Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality is hiring a Utility/Dishwasher in Overland Park, KS. The role includes washing dishes, maintaining a clean kitchen, receiving and stocking supplies, and assisting with food prep.

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available with weekly pay and a starting rate of $18.00 plus a $2.50 weekend differential. Employees receive health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, EAP, and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by machine or hand.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen areas and equipment.
• Receive products from vendors and organize stock.
• Store clean dishes and cooking equipment in designated areas.
• Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas.
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler and assist with basic food prep.

Utility Job Summary:

The Utility reports to the General Manager. This Utility responsibilities will include washing dishes, pots and pans and other equipment as assigned and maintaining a clean work environment. Representing not only the client but NEXDINE as well, this Utility needs to exhibit great customer service in all aspects of this job.

Utility Essential Functions and Key Tasks:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using Dishwasher / Utility Workers or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler
• Assist with food prep
• Other duties of the Utility Worker are assigned by the Chef Manager
