You will act as the primary representative for an Investor-Owned Utility, overseeing the implementation of modern intake and workflow platforms (e.g., PowerClerk, GridUnity) and their integration into complex utility systems like GIS, Billing, and Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor & SI Management: Lead the RFP process to procure software/tools. Oversee the System Integrator (SI) and contracted vendors, holding them accountable to SOW deliverables and technical milestones.
  • Full Lifecycle Execution: Manage all aspects of the ESAP project—from initial charter and resource planning to execution, failover planning, and final cutover.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Coordinate between internal Business, IT, OT (Operational Technology), Cybersecurity, and Customer Service stakeholders to ensure operational readiness.
  • Quality & Performance: Manage rigorous testing processes, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Change & Data Management: Oversee current-state/future-state business process mapping, change requests, and data conversion activities from legacy systems.
Technical Oversight & Governance
  • Utility Standards: Ensure all solutions align with utility standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity compliance.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks and issues, documenting decisions and implementing mitigation strategies across the project lifecycle.
  • Reporting: Prepare high-level project reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders to ensure transparency.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Domain Expertise: Must have at least three engagements managing utility customer-facing applications, electric service requests, or DER interconnection processes.
  • Integration Depth: Demonstrated experience managing projects that require multiple complex system integrations (GIS, Billing, etc.).
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or Business.
  • Software Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar PM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Leadership & Communication
  • Independent Driver: Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, collaborative remote environment.
  • Liaison Skills: Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to navigate complex business and technical conversations.
