Egis seeks a skilled Engineer, Utility Design in Salt Lake City, UT. You will support project managers, review utility plans, and develop 3D models for relocation projects using OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in utility design, strong communication, and collaboration with UDOT and local authorities. The role offers diverse projects, hybrid work flexibility, and opportunities to grow with a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is desirable.
• 5+ years of utility design/coordination experience is required.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with UDOT coordination and design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the project manager and client with utility relocation policies and processes.
• Collect and review utility plans and import into OpenRoads Designer.
• Prepare 3D utility models of existing and proposed utilities.
• Review data and perform a conflict analysis.
• Document potential conflicts and proposed mitigations.
• Prepare Standard Utility Agreements with data and exhibits.
