Job summary

Paraco Gas Corporation is seeking a Utility Delivery Driver to deliver propane cylinders and support residential and commercial customers in Riverhead, NY. You will uphold safety standards and provide outstanding service while working outdoors in all weather conditions.

The role requires a CDL with HazMat and Tank endorsements, at least 1 year of CDL experience, and DOT medical certification. A strong safety mindset and reliable daily delivery performance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of Class A or B CDL experience.
• Valid CDL license with HazMat (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements or (X); no Air Brakes restrictions.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean, safe driving record in full DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safe, punctual, reliable bulk and cylinder deliveries to residential and commercial customers.
• Participate in required industry compliance and company training.
• Provide courteous and efficient customer service.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Work outdoors in various weather and driving conditions.

Our Propane Utility Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering various types of propane cylinders to both residential and commercial customers. You will also provide outstanding customer service and adhere to industry safety standards.

Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Provide daily safe, punctual, consistent, and reliable bulk and cylinder deliveries daily
• Participate in and complete all required industry compliance and company training
• Provide consistent, courteous, and efficient customer service
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections
• You will be working outdoors in all weather and driving conditions .
• Ability to lift and carry over 55 pounds regularly throughout the day and bend, climb, reach, & rotate as needed

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of Class A or B CDL experience
• Valid CDL license with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements or (X) combination. The license may not contain any Air Brakes (L) or (Z) Restriction(s)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hand tools, power tools,and test equipment
• Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving,and diagnost i c skills
• Previous Bobtail delivery of propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous materials
• Being a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential
• Detailed-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
