Job summary

Strack & Van Til in Indiana is seeking a friendly Utility Clerk to deliver prompt, courteous service to customers throughout the store. The role involves bagging groceries, assisting shoppers, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

You will also collect and return shopping carts and respond to spills or price-check requests. Other duties include stocking merchandise, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring bag racks stay full.

Summary

Provides prompt, efficient and outstanding customer service. Bags customer's purchases and provides carryout services. Gathers carts from the parking lot and returns them to their proper location in the store. Cleans up miscellaneous spills throughout the store. Cleans restrooms and keeps them well stocked with toilet paper, soap and paper towels. Keeps bag racks full and returns overstock to its proper place. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Work environment

Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes. Employees are required to go outside for carry out services and to retrieve carts
