Summit Polymers in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Utility, Assembly associate to support production on the shop floor. This role handles materials, moves parts, and assists operators under supervision.
You will work with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, following safety procedures and kanban/scheduling practices. A high school diploma and basic physical requirements apply.

This is responsible work, generally of a routine nature. Supplies parts and/or material as needed to operators/associates as well as other duties as assigned. Direct supervision is provided by the shift supervisor, but the routine nature of the work allows for reasonable independent work scheduling within prescribed guidelines.
Under general supervision is responsible for the following major tasks:
stage, supplies WIP parts and purchased components to assembly as ordered with kanbans.
High School Diploma or GED
This position typically does not require any travel.
