UGI Utilities, Inc. is hiring for a Utility A Start position, a bargaining unit role performing basic construction and utility tasks such as meter sets, pipe fitting, and responding to leak/CO calls, with after-hours work and exposure to all weather conditions.
The role requires a valid PA driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic mechanical skills; CDL A will be required within six months of hire. Shift work is possible depending on company needs.

The Utility A Start position is a bargaining unit position which requires a general knowledge and ability to perform basic construction related tasks and Utility tasks such as, but not limited to; responding to leak/CO complaints when qualified, building and installing single and multiple meter sets up to AL 425, basic pipe fitting, meter changes, MRSLIP investigates, service installations, leak pinpointing and repair, meter turn-ons, inspecting UGI Contractor crews, PA One Call locates when qualified, complying with all Company safety standards, responding to callout when qualified, after hours work and exposure to all weather conditions.
