Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking a Temporary Utility Worker for a global packaging company located east of Portage, Wisconsin. The 1st shift runs 7:30am-4:00pm with overtime as needed.

Starting pay is $28/hr based on technical skills and experience. Duties include regrinding coolers from the return program, basic maintenance and grounds keeping, cleaning, and following work orders with diligence and urgency. Forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of using basic tools both standard and metric.
• Comfortable using a sander.
• Self-starter with good attendance.
• Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Regrind coolers from the return program and perform basic maintenance.
• Keep facility clean and safe; grounds keeping and organization.
• Follow work orders with diligence and urgency.
• Paint, finish work, organize, dust, and run floor sweeper weekly.

Utility Worker -1st shift

Shift: 1st Shift - 7:30am-4:00pm with overtime as needed

Job Duties:

• This position is mainly responsible but not limited to, regrinding coolers from our return program, and basic maintenance and grounds keeping of the facility to keep the building and surrounding areas clean, safe, organized, and well maintained.
• Additional responsibilities:Following work orders with diligence, sense of urgency, and taking pride in the work.
• Painting, finishing work, organizing, cleaning, dusting, removal of cobwebs, running floor sweeper weekly through the warehouses.
• Other duties and upkeep as assigned
