Job summary

The Peninsula Regent in San Mateo is seeking a utility/dishwasher to join our luxury senior living community. The dishwashing role supports the kitchen by keeping dishes and prep items ready, enabling an exceptional dining experience for residents.

This position offers hourly pay between $19.00 and $22.00, DOE, with a benefits package including a 401(k) match, PTO, and PayActiv access. A valid Food Handlers card is required, and ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• A valid Food Handlers card is required.
• ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing area and ensure all dishes, utensils and cookware are clean and ready for service.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen area.
• Support kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operation during service.

The Peninsula Regent, San Mateo's premier upscale senior living community, is seeking a utility/dishwasher to join our team.

We are not a nursing home or typical retirement community. At our luxury, resort-like community, we are driven to provide our residents with the best service the San Mateo has to offer, so our residents don't need to leave home for an incredible culinary experience.

The successful candidate will bring energy, great ideas to make us all better, and ambition to learn new things in order to progress from the dish room to the cooks' line. The dishwasher has the most important role and hardest job in the kitchen, so if you want to be treated like you matter, come join us in pushing the envelope!

Compensation
