Job summary

Premier Service Company, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Signal Technician to supervise and assist the installation, maintenance and repair of traffic control signs and related components on construction sites and outdoor areas.

The role involves repairs on traffic signs and control systems, plus handling heavy machinery during installation and replacement of signals. Ideal candidates will have experience with workzone traffic signals, riggers & signal, road lighting, and hold a high school

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment on work zones and traffic control sites.
• Knowledge of traffic signals, rigging & signaling, and roadway lighting installation.
• Education credential as high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist installation, maintenance and repair of traffic control signs and components.
• Work on construction sites and outdoor environments performing repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with heavy machinery and installation, repair, and replacement of signs and signals.

Summary of Duties

The Traffic Signal Technician provides supervision and assistance for the installation, maintenance and repair of traffic control signs and associated components. Task are carried out on construction sites, maintenance facilities, and outdoor environments. Responsibilities include conducting repairs and maintenance on traffic signs and control systems. Additionally, heavy machinery, and aid in the installation, repair and replacement of signs and traffic signals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or Traffic control
• Experience with (Workzone) Traffic Signals, Riggers & Signal, and Roadway Lighting
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
• Valid Driver’s License to include active liability insurance
• Successful completion of required criminal record and motor vehicle record background checks
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
