Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule foremen and crew activities.

• Collaborate with engineers, city inspectors, and stakeholders to meet specs.
• Ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Monitor project budgets and report variances.

Supervises all activities of a utility project which includes:

Develops a schedule and plan for completion of an assigned project. Collaborates with other staff to create preutility estimates and budgets for materials and labor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and schedules work activities of foremen and crew.
• Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; provides progress reports to upper management; makes recommendations for necessary modifications.
• Collaborates with engineer, city inspector and other stakeholders to ensure specifications and other regulations are met.
• Ensures applicable specifications and regulations are followed.
• Monitors budget throughout the project and communicates variances as they occur.
• Ensures a safe worksite and that all proper safety procedures are followed.
• Must be able to travel overnight during the week and work weekends as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess valid driver's license.
• Must have 5 years utility experience.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
