Job summary

Orange County Government in Orlando seeks an experienced Utilities Maintenance Coordinator to schedule, plan, and coordinate maintenance activities across multiple crews to keep facilities in top condition.

You will collaborate with vendors and contractors, maintain detailed logs, and ensure timely completion of work orders using Maximo. A Florida driver’s license is required, and prior utility or water/wastewater maintenance experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and four (4) years of experience in the operation of heavy equipment, maintenance of water or wastewater systems, and operation of water meters.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities by scheduling work to keep facilities in efficient operating condition.
• Review work performed by various trades and respond to emergencies to fix operating problems promptly.
• Assist with coordinating daily tasks and activities by staff and contractors.
• Maintain tracking software for budgeting and invoicing work performed.
• Oversee scheduling and coordination of multiple groups.
