Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3-5 years in Distribution/Collection.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• CDL Class A and water/wastewater licenses or equivalents required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of the Utility Technician dept per schedules and SOPs.
• Allocate work, provide direction, and train staff.
• Organize schedules and respond to emergencies.
• Advise purchasing on equipment needs.
• Perform grounds maintenance and site upkeep.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and call outs.
• Diagnose problems and repair water/sewer systems.
• Install water/sewer taps, lines, meters, and fixtures.
• Create and complete work orders with quality checks.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
