Job summary

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S.A., Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Clean Utilities Engineer 3 to provide technical support for RO/EDI skids, WFI, WPU, clean gases and waste systems, ensuring GMP compliance and reliability.

You will collaborate with Senior Utility Engineers and Maintenance teams, develop PCCs and URS/SOPs, review submittals, perform field walkdowns, and assist with deviation investigations to drive plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience in process utility components and systems.
• Experience in GMP or other highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Senior Utility Engineers to ensure project deliverables meet company standards.
• Develops Project Change Controls (PCCs) documenting design changes.
• Prepares deviations and change control resolutions and closures.
• Reviews installation and testing of equipment within assigned discipline across all buildings on site.
• Performs field walkdowns with Utility Engineering and Construction to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provides engineering support for plant utilities (steam boilers, cooling systems, compressed air, etc.).
• Reviews and approves Preventive Maintenance templates for equipment.
• Collaborates with Operators and Maintenance Technicians to resolve operational issues.
• Develops URS and SOPs for maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
• Supports maintenance strategy implementation to maximize equipment reliability.
• Maintains GMP compliance aspects of validated systems.
• Participates in audits with customers and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Performs moderate troubleshooting and cross-trains across disciplines.
