Job summary

SFE- Southwest Foodservice Excellence in Michigan is seeking a Utilities Delivery Driver to load, transport, and unload food, supplies, and equipment between school sites. You’ll ensure timely deliveries and maintain trucks and paperwork with care.

The role requires a valid driver's license, clean MVR, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong attention to detail. You’ll work full-time Monday through Friday with potential extended hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR check required)
• Experience in delivery, warehouse, or food service preferred
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
• Comfortable driving in various weather and traffic conditions
• Basic understanding of safe food handling and delivery procedures
• Must pass background check, fingerprint screening, and MVR
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to transport food, supplies, and equipment between designated school sites
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring products are handled carefully and stored properly
• Verify delivery accuracy by checking invoices and packing lists
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle and storage areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards during transport
• Communicate effectively with kitchen managers, warehouse staff, and district contacts
• Assist with setup or breakdown of kitchen equipment as needed
• Report vehicle maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies promptly
• Support the team with other utility or warehouse duties as assigned
• Represent the company positively and professionally at all times
